We went for Cole's 15 month check up today. He weighs 21 pounds....still. He has not gained any weight actually since December. He weighed 22 pounds in December then got retty sick & dropped to 21 by January. Now he remains the same. That puts him in the 10th percentile. He does not want him to drop below 10% so now we go back to formula! Thats right! He does not like whole milk & will not drink it so we were doing 1/2 formula & 1/2 milk. Now we go back to all formula....we are going to get NEXT STEP formula for older babies. He needs to drink 3 cups a day. I got him to drink 1/3 a cup so far. But its a step. He eats A LOT so I am actually very surprised he did not gain. He can out eat both of my nieces any day!!! He is just all boy and very active!!! I think he burns it all off.
He did grow and inch & 1/2 so that puts him at 31 1/2 in heigth and in the 50%!
Everything else seems perfect! We are still on prevacid & will try 2 times a month to wean him & see what happens. He will also continue to take Pulmacort for another year. It has worked wonderfully & we have not had chest congestion since we have been on it!
All in all...he looks good except we need to plump him up! Lets hope the formula works!

PediaSure has really helped Lizzie Kate gain weight but, it is kind of expensive. I haven't bought formula in so long, I don't even remember how much it costs. The PediaSure is $9.97 for a 6 pack at Wal-Mart. It comes in 4 different flavors (Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry and Banana). Glad to hear he is a healthy boy!!!
i didn't realize cole wasn't drinking milk... you know trace is 2 and still doesn't like it. hasn't drank it since he turned 1 and we put it in a sippy cup! he's just now coming around to chocolate milk occasionaly! he was only in the 8th% at his 24 month visit but the dr wasn't worried! you're right... cole is just a very active lil boy. AND a CUTE little COWBOY BABY :)
