We spent a week in Orange Beach in July with my family & it was heaven! We were so lazy & just enjoyed the beach & good food! Cole had a great time! He also had many firsts. He drove a real go-cart by himself! He also played putt-putt for the first time ever. He loved both of them! We also went to an arcade & he loved it as well.
This year as I watched him drive his little truck around the shore...I thought how life will be very different next year. And I also thought about how my days of watching my sweet boy driving trucks will fade faster than I can imagine. He's growing up so fast. It seems like yesterday he was snoozing in his bouncer under the tent & now he's swimming like a fish and driving go-carts. I have loved every stage of life he's been through, but I 've missed them when he's passed them too. Life just stays so busy and it seems like the older he gets, the faster it flies. I've tried to soak up this summer more than ever. I know when we add another one in the mix next summer that things will be even more crazy.....I'm thankful for the job I have and the opportunity it gives me to spend time with Cole. It may never pay for a mansion....but some things money can't buy. This summer has been one of the BEST!

More River!!!

Here are a few more from our time at the river. The kids always like to stop at Pirate Island once every season.....they think its so fun!
As you can see by the last picture...the river is so exhausting:)

4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July this year! We celebrated a night early with friends & had a great time eating swimming & watching fireworks! Then on the 4th we celebrated Blayne's birthday at our house & Nanny's house with family & very yummy Edgars cake:) We ended the night watching fireworks  in Birmingham.  It was a great day!

More Summer....

Still catching up a lot this summer....

These pictures were taken in June. We love to go to the river on Pop's boat in the summer! Its one of Cole's favorite things!!!
We always have a good time!

Lucy was in a little pageant this summer. She didn't win but she sure was cute!
And she wasn't shy at all up there!
