We are still here....

Ok...life has been CRAZY! I'll catch you up. We went to Gatlinburg on saturday...had a great time...UNTIL Cole started throwing up Sunday night. It was his first virus.....YUCK. He threw up all night. The next day we stayed inside and recovered. We did make it out in the late afternoon for a short walk through G-Burg. I was dissappointed b/c we wanted to take Cole to the aquarium...but I guess there is always next year. Well...then i got it on teh way home..it was AWEFUL.......then layne got it Tuesday night around midnight. We spent yesterday recovering. I do believe it is the worst one I have ever had!!! But we survived:)

Papaw update- they moved him from the hospital to Cook Springs rehabilitation. He is doing better than they thought I think. He has 30 days in there under rehabilitation. I think its been about 2 weeks...so he has another 2 left. After that...some very hard decisions will need to be made about his long time care. Currently he is still unable to get up by himself. He has been very lucid when I have gone to visit though...he is still very tired though & HATES the activities they make him do:) I am not sure what God has in store for Papaw....one day they don't think he'll leave the hospital & he's signing a DNR and the next he's complaning about nursing home activities...he's still got some spunk left in him:) I just pray for God's will to take place & for him to show us all guidance on what the next step needs to be.

Blayne's grandmother- she has gotten a lot worse. Please continue to pray for God to ease her pain. She is currently staying at his parents house with Hospice & a sitter coming to help.

I will post some pics from G-burg trip soon. I actually have to go to work today:)

I hate that y'all were sick. I am not looking forward to those kinds of things! Glad your grandfather is doing better. Granny was the same way. We thought she was done, then all of a sudden they change her medication and she's back. Steph said it best after going to see her one afternoon, "my Granny's back". You just never know.
