After watching Marley & Me....I felt the need to blog about our sweet Bowden. He's our baby! He was Blayne's Christmas present almost 3 1/2 years ago. He was so little he could fit under our couch. Now he weighs 130 lbs! But he is still our baby. He is so wonderful with Cole and actually enjoys his company because he feeds him table food snacks & we never did. He does 2 tricks..sit and shake....thats about it. He is absolutely spoiled rotten and he thinks he's human really. Anyway....thats our sweet Bowden.
Well, I have pics...but I'll upload later...they are on my NEW camera & I haven't loaded yet. Yes I got a NEW camera....its so exciting! I got the new Canon Rebel...15.1 megapix....its AMAZING! We had a busy weekend .....we ate with Nana & Pop at Cracker Barrel on Friday night before they left for the beach. Then we were actually a little lazy Saturday night. We watched Marley & Me....and I cried like a BIG BABY and really wished I had never watched the movie in the first place...horribly sad. Then we ate at Brent & Steph's house Sunday night & played with Ashton. Finally we had all of my family over here tonight for dinner....busy busy....but lots of good times with family! I feel very blessed!!! Again I will post pics later.
Also, please pray for our friend Tony. He recently found out he has a broken hip & they are about to face a hip replacement at the age of 31....its really awful & they need lots of prayer for a good surgeon...a quick surgery date b/c his wife is a teacher & will be home to help him right now....and a quick recovery...he needs to work. Please lift them up readers!!!

Cole is sick again. Chest congestion...sinus infection....antibiotic...breathing treatments...liquid steroid....YUCK. Say a prayer that is passes quickly.

I never blog about him much....but he's a great guy & this one is for him! I knew a LONG time ago that I would spend the rest of my life with him....We have been married for 5 + years now & each year gets better & better! He's a wonderful man and an AMAZING Daddy! I am very blessed to have a hard working, faithful, sweet, and caring husband....they are RARE today and I am well aware of that...I think I take him for granted sometimes. ANyway....I love him VERY much and thank God for our life together. I am a VERY lucky lady!
Please pray for Justin Burns. He is Blayne's age and a friend and teacher at Odenville Middle School. Justin had 2 seizures this weekend. They gave him medicine & he will see a doctor about Epilepsy this week. Please pray for Brandi his wife & their little boy Hunter. This has to be a horribly scary time for them! Pray for healing & quickly!
Me & Cole are home with yucky colds. But it was kind of nice not to leave & have a crazy weekend like normal. We have sat around & laughed at Cole. He is saying SO MANY words right now! Here are the latest....Mommy, Dada, Josh, Nana, Nanny, Pop, Pappy, ball, bye-bye, hey, ba-ba, dog, bowden, side ( for outside) apple, yes, and one Addy just taught him...MINE and he uses it correctly. He says a few other things randomly! He also says woof-woof when you point at a dog and Moooooo when you point to a cow. He is too cute right now...but also quite the climber. He is climbing on EVERYTHING! He climbed up the recliner & fell off the back...scared the life out of me. He has a really bruised back because he fell into the window sill. It was very scary. He is covered in bruises because he falls so much now. ANd I hear this is just the beginning! Anyway...that is all that is going on with us! This is his last week at daycare..I cannot wait for summer!
I had already heard from a few friends, but I didn't want to focus on it...now I did. I have been praying for a preemie named Kayleigh Freeman for some time now. She went to be with Jesus a few days ago. Please pray for her family. You don't have to know her story...just know they are hurting & need you to say a prayer for them tonight.
We had a very busy Mother's Day weekend. I celebrated early & used a pedicure gift card from my sweet students Luke & Colby on Saturday morning. Then me & Em went to Tess' graduation. We came home late Saturday. Then we began Sunday off even busier. We had to leave Cole with Casey & Emily on our way to church..... due to our busy afternoon with a funeral. We ate a quick lunch afterwards & headed to Tuscaloosa for Blayne's great Aunt Myrt's funeral. We returned home in time to eat dinner at my mom's house. It was a little too busy for me....but atleast I get to be a mommy all year long...not just one day!
