The Greatest Gift of all......

We had an amazing holiday season this year! The entire month of December was full of love, laughter, & excitement in our household. We are so blessed to have an amazing Savior who came to this earth all of those years ago born in a manger. God was so good to our family this year & we were even able to help others in need this holiday season. I hope we are always able to help someone else because as Cole gets older, i want him to take part in the act of GIVING during the holiday season. I want him to have the same blessing we did as I watched Cole Christmas morning enjoying his gifts...but in my heart also thinking of another family enjoying their gifts. That is what Christmas is all about....God gave us the most amazing gift & we have to keep on giving to others as long as we are here....whether it is our time...kind words...prayers...or money....we should always find a way to GIVE whatever we can to those in need.
Merry Christmas my blog readers! I hope you and your family had an amazing Christmas!
Love to all!

Merry Christmas at Nanny & Pappy's!

We walked down the hill for breakfast & Nanny & Pappy's house this year in the SNOW! It was beautiful! We shared a very yummy breakfast together...opened a few gifts..and even played outside in the snow. Cole got a bike & had fun riding his ( motocycle) as he calls it!
This was my very first WHITE Christmas! We soaked it up...we may never see it again:)
God sure spoiled us this year....it was a BEAUTIFUL day!

Merry Christmas at Nana & Pop's!

We spent the afternoon & evening at Nana & Pop's house. We had a little brunch... started our circle opening...and ended with a yummy dinner.
Cole & Ashton had a great time & loved all of their gifts. It was a great ending to a beautiful day. We are blessed to have a great family!

Christmas Eve

We began our Christmas Eve delivering goodies to a few of our favorite people. Then we headed home & made cookies for Santa! Later, we had dinner at Nanny & Pappy's house with our family.
We ate a yummy meal & opened a few presents.
Then we headed home & got ready for Santa.
We read the Christmas story & The Night Before Christmas.
Then we set Santa's cookies out & headed to bed. It took a while to get all calmed down.
Then the elves went to work at our house & by the time midnight came...we had all settled down for a long winters nap!

Happy Birthday Shelby!

We missed sweet Shelby's birthday party while we were in Gatlinburg. We celebrated on her actual birthday though! The kiddos exchanged Christmas presents we ate Chick-Fil-A & went to the Galleria where they rode the carosel and went to Build A Bear and made a reindeer. Despite a few minor meltdowns and one MAJOR meltdown...it was a good day. I think Mrs. Courtney is sacred of ever having a wild lil boy though;) Shelby is just so sweet & precious!
Happy Birthday Shleby!

Cole's Wee Care Party

Cole's class had the sweetest Christmas Party. We are so blessed that he goes to such a great school. Although I would love to have been able to stay home with him...it just wasn't in our cards...but I think he loves his school and knowing these precious ladies love my little boy make it a little bit easier to drop him off each day. He is learning so much everyday. He knows all his colors & shapes. He knows numbers 1-9. He knows over half of his letters. He can quote a few nursery rhymes. And he loves his friends & teachers. I would say school has been good for our little guy. We are so thankful for Wee Care:)

Christmas with the girls!

We celebrated at Jessica's house this year & had a great time! It was good to get together & eat & laugh & just talk about life. I am blessed to have some amazing women in my life...they are always only a phone call away and even though we don't get together near enough...when we do...we have a wonderful time!
